A Nautolan from Glee Anslem, Kit Fisto was strong with the Force, and an able warrior. The amphibious Kit was brough to Coruscant at an early age to begin his Jedi training, developing well-balanced skills. As a Knight, he earned the respect of the Jedi Council by undertaking seemingly impossible missions, completing them with exceptional competence. Though he could only speak his native tongue underwater, Kit proved to be a valuable negotiator and diplomat, even becoming adviser to the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. However, Kit was also a deadly adversary on the battlefield, mixing impressive and graceful lightsaber techniques with powerful Force manipulation. He had a strong focus in battle, helped by the fact that his eyes had no lids, which allowed him to concentrate further. Kit was part of the Jedi task force assembled by Mace Windu to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi on Geonosis. Though the Jedi were attacked by thousands of battle droids, Kit held his own, his quick and elegant moves giving him the edge over the somewhat-clumsy Confederate droids. Yet sheer numbers prevailed, and the surviving Jedi were soon surrounded. Before they could be killed off, however, the Republic Army stormed Geonosis, deploying six Gunships to pick up the Jedi. Kit travelled out of the execution arena in Yoda's Gunship. Given command of a special clonetrooper unit, Kit fought in the larger battle, leading his troops against the might of the Confederate war machine. On his return to Coruscant, Kit took Eerin Bant as his padawan learner, though he also fought in the Clone Wars which began on Geonosis. |
