Well, welcome to 2007!
I know it's been a long time since I have updated and I apologize. Things have
been crazy here, as they have no doubt been with you.
I have updated the website- do you like the new look? I hope you do! Also the messageboard
has a "new look." It's just that time of new beginnings.
I'm hoping, hoping, hoping I will be able to go visit Mark and Danielle of the WOKQ
Morning Waking Crew- they're celebs to me! Here's to hoping I can drop in and chat with
them in the studio and give away some free copies of SCK.
There has been a great response to the SCK promo email that I sent out. If you would like to
get it, please make sure to email me your email addy and I will get it right off to you.
The more people we can send it to, the better! :D

Soooo much to report. First off, THANK YOU to Monkeyville and Nicole Kidman United. You guys
are wonderful, wonderful. So many of you drop emails/PMs/IMs just when I need.
You have no idea how amazing that is, or how thankful I am. THANK YOU
Well, a lot has happened since the last update. I hope to really start adding
a lot to this tonight, starting with the "Welcome to South Crawley" section that will be below
this. When finished it should be quite informative and cool!
A store here in NH is going to be selling SCK until Christmas, and an event is
in the works. More on that as I get the news.
Christmas is coming! Don't forget that SCK makes a GREAT present for yourself
and a friend or two! There is a special deal on shipping; One book, including shipping for
16 dollars or two books for only 24 because shipping is free on the second book.
I will put more details about that on the site though.
    Please remember to keep the reviews coming! Every single one of them

   Another long time between updates! eeek. Things have been pretty busy
this way, so there is a lot to report back now! First of all, the Character Building class
has been launched! There will be a link on this page with more information about that.
Secondly, Bayswater Books in Centre Harbor is most likely going to be carrying South
Crawley Kids very soon.
 And last but not least... I heard three of the tracks from the new Keith Urban album last 
night and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! It's awesome!

   I am sorry it took so long for an update... I just moved across country,
and we ran into a few problems along the way but are settling in now :D
    I will be putting up the new address and contact info and very soon will
be launching the special new content. In the next few days, I will adding some new
reviews as well.

For those of you wondering about SCK 2... it is still coming along slowly. Megan
and I are hard at work on it. That old thing about the second book being the hardest
is definitely true.

Today I sent South Crawley Kids off to Monkeyville, to be given to Keith Urban and Nicole! I am very excited
about this and would be simply dancing, but I have a terrible cold, flu, something. I feel miserably sick, haha.
Nice timing, huh?
Anyway, I was very excited to hear some of the interviews Keith did in the last few days,
about the new single and all the questions his fans have had. Good for him, saying he will be interacting
more with the fans (or, washing their cars, as he said :D haha). I am looking forward to that. Monkeyville is a great

I heard the new KU song this morning, and boy was it great! Good driving beat, uplifting sound, kind
of a cross between Days Go By and the unreleased song, "Things I Believe." I really enjoyed it, 
and I hope the whole album has this new "sound." I like the sound! Come on, now, Keith... hurry up with
that new CD! ;)
  Okay, I added a TON of questions and answers, so please check it out. I added a picture
to the author page. I should also be adding a bit to the Press Kit.

   Hello! Well, I sure have a lot to report. There was a wonderful write up about South Crawley
Kids in Country Weekly this week, please check out the link for more info on that! Thank you to
Country Weekly for the mention- it was great!
I am also adding some pics from the night before last, after a play that my friend Tom was in. The
play is called Wonderful Town and it is HILARIOUS. Tonight is the last night of it. I saw it two nights
in a row and would have loved to see it again. The cast was great, the music was great, the dancing
was AWESOME! :D

August 3, 2006:
   Hello everyone and I apologize for taking so long for an update- I have started a new
part time job and have been busy in training for that. I do, however, have some great news.
Country Weekly has contacted me and let me know they will be running some kind of item
about South Crawley Kids in one of their upcoming issues. This is very exciting and I am really
looking forward to seeing what that looks like! :D Speaking of country music, Keith Urban is
poised to have a new single coming out ANY time.. They have said on his official site that it will
be called "Once in a Lifetime." Whooohooo, can't wait to hear it! On the Project Monkey Boy front,
I will most likely be waiting a little longer before sending the book to Keith and Nicole, because
I know the next few months will be very busy for them both. Thank you, though, to all the people who
have dropped me lovely notes about how much they appreciated the Keith dedication. Let's all hope
the book can get into his hands someday soon :D
    I want to invite you AGAIN to come join us on the messageboard (the link is on the far left hand side
of this page). We have a lot of fun projects going on, to inspire writers and also keep them up to date on
SCK happenings. We have an off topic section as well, so you can enjoy posting there if you are not
interested in the writing portion.
    White Birch Books said they will be ordering books possibly tomorrow, so those of you in the New Hampshire
area will be able to get a copy there, if you wish. Please remember to tell me about your local bookstores, though,
as the more bookstores that have the book, the better. The book is picking up a beautiful little cult status following.
Thank you to everyone for making that happen.
   Megan- thank you so much for being such an amazing friend and for not only working on South Crawley Kids with me,
but working on all the domestic vampire, wacky agent and creepy supernatural stories... it's the greatest fun. Thank you
so much, and soon... very very soon... the world will know what a fantastic writer you truly are. You just wait and see ;)

Lots of updates! Sorry it has been soooo long. Well, first off- The Green Bay Press Gazette
has run a WONDERFUL review on South Crawley Kids in the Sunday paper. I will be scanning it and posting
it asap, along with the article from the Herald Times Reporter. For now, there is an online
version of the Green Bay Gazette's review, so I will make a special link for that temporarily
and put it on the reviews page, where it will stay permanently.
    I have not heard from Book World in Manitowoc or White Birch Books in NH yet, but I hope to
hear from both of them soon. The Manitowoc Public Library has the book on order, so feel free to
put a hold on it, if you want, for when it is available.
I wanted to give a SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to all the WONDERFUL people over at Nicole Kidman United.

story up on the writer's board... all writers are welcome to join us! Please drop in,
bring your character and let's have fun!
    News: Lester Public Library in Two Rivers, WI is considering adding "SCK" to their
library. Book World in Manitowoc is also still considering selling the book there.
White Birch Books in N. Conway, NH is considering selling the book as well. I will keep you updated.
   I will be sending a copy of SCK to Keith Urban via Monkeyville in the next few weeks. I will
keep you updated on "Project Monkey Boy."

The book signing at Tweedle Brothers went great! We had a few people
stop in, and there were several books preordered too. Looks like the ad they put
in the paper really got some attention. And the ad was beautiful. As soon as I can,
I will make sure to scan and upload it with some pics.
Ordering through Infinity's website is now available, if you live in US or Canda. If you love
overseas, you can fax or call your order in, with a credit card.
A special thank you to Satine for leaving a review about the book on the 
publisher's website! Thank you sooo much!
If anyone would like to leave a review on there, please do!! :D
So far, all the word coming back to me is that the book looks wonderful and
people are really enjoying reading it. I look forward to more feedback from everyone!
Also, remember to check out the messageboard and leave your thoughts there, and if you'd like,
hang around and talk about writing related things with the writers' group.

The book should be out by the end of this week! Today I am doing an interview with the Herald Times
Reporter. I will make sure to scan and post that article as soon as I can. I got a picture done yesterday
for the press kit, website and general purposes. The picture was done at Color Blind Studios by Rick. It was
a wonderful time, very fun to sit in a chair for (more than an hour!) while someone else does my hair and makeup.
Well, I find it relaxing anyway, haha.
 On June 9th, from five to seven in the evening, I will be doing a reading, signing at Tweedle Bros in Manitowoc, so
feel free to come to that if you can. Don't forget the following day is the first Monkeyville party here in Whitelaw.
    I will be trying to add some more interactive features soon, too, like maps of South Crawley and a messageboard.

Hi to everyone in Wisconsin!! If I've directed you to this site, please read this!!
I am hoping to have the book available to be bought at Tweedle Bros bookstore
in Manitowoc. I'm going to put up a link to their site so you can check it out,
but if you live in town, you probably already know about it.
Please feel free to look around the site. Lots more stuff will be added soon.
The good news is, the book should be out in three weeks or less, and 
there should be a copy to read at the Manitowoc Public Library. Please check

4/21/06: Sorry for such a long wait for updates!! Wow, time has been 
flying. I am gearing up for a book launch/Monkeyville party, though...
lots of fun with Monkeys, loud Keith music, food and prizes... I can't wait!
Everyone's invited... and if you like Keith Urban, you are especially going to have a 
good time! lol, there should be lots of keith fans there. I will also be doing a reading
from the book, and I should have copies of the book on hand... (that's kinda the idea, right Kackie?! haha)
and will be able to sign them for anyone interested.
4/2/2006:
OKay, well... I've really changed it up over here. Hope you like the new look.
Also, I'm going to be extending the contest time until the end of May to give everyone 
more time. Project Monkey Boy is going well... I am done writing the first
draft of South Crawley Kids 2 and will be starting in on the second draft in a few months,
probably. For now, I'm writing the third one and some history on South Crawley, which has been
a lot of fun. I've been writing about the "kids" as real kids, haha, and also about
Jagger when he went to college, about Alex and Pandora getting set in their foster homes
etc. It should prove interesting! I added a link at the bottom of the page for 
another of my favorite sites, so please check it out! :D
