The most mysterious of the South Crawley Kids, Kyler is a quiet loner with extremely powerful abilities. Kyler's mother brought him to South Crawley by night, when he was a toddler, and lived among the people there but was very secretive. She never told her son about his past, but only helped equip him for the dark future he might have, and taught him to control his abilities as much as possible. Kyler discovered from a very young age that if he opened and closed his hands twice, he could break things... big things. This scared him at first but later he found that he liked the ability and wanted to know what else he could do. Kyler's talents range from making huge bundles to imploding things to turning electric off with the wave of a hand.
Surprisingly, despite all of his abilities, Kyler doesn't have a quick temper. He is comfortable enough with himself and confident enough that he has no need of tantrums or outbursts. He knows what he can and can't do, and for the most part, he can do anything.
After South Crawley fell, Kyler was put into a home but he ran away when he was barely ten years old and from that time on, lived by himself, taking care of himself. When he heard Alex calling for the South Crawley Kids, he decided to go out of curiousity.
His curious view of the world is colored with a heavy sense of sarcasm and irony. He knows people within seconds of meeting them, and is usually bored by them within minutes. |
