Though born to Southern American parents, the young man was raised by a foster family in London, and so has not only the polite British accent but the manners to match. Despite his British upbringing, the young man has quite a wild streak, with dreams to do dangerous things like skydiving and travelling the world.
Jacen has the largest amount of power under his control of any of the kids. He has a talent for a little bit of everything from telepathy to telekinesis and mind reading and even slightly altering his appearance.
The young man befriends Kyler, and becomes one of the only people Kyler actually trusts. Jacen tends to know someone quite well, very quickly, and if he senses no real danger in them, he will be their friend even if it isn't the "popular" thing to do.
Jacen has an extraordinary memory and can clearly recall the day when South Crawley fell.
