Jagger was born in Australia and his parents moved to the United States when he was young. He made many trips across the ocean, to Oz and back, which distilled a love of airplanes in him. When Jagger was seven, his Mum died. Around the same time, though, he met a spunky young Southern girl named Ruby "Babbit" Conner, who would forever change his life.
While Jagger never lived in South Crawley, he visited very often. He came to see his friend Alex Lundy but especially to see Babbit, who lived in South Crawley with her mother single mother. Jagger would bring presents for the children of South Crawley and messages from his father, for the adults. And then he would sneak away from it all with Babbit, to spend quiet time with her, just sitting and reading or talking for hours about their lives.
Jagger never had any strong talent, though he had a very sharp memory and learned to read when he was only three. He can't do telepathy almost at all.
When South Crawley was destroyed, Jagger helped his father put the surviving Kids into foster homes. Babbit left to live on her own, promising Jagger she would come back. Years went by and Babbit didn't come back and Jagger didn't search for her. His mistake in the matter paid him with many lonely years.
A natural artist and painter, Jagger gave up art when he finished college, due to pressure from his father. When the South Crawley Kids decide to meet up, Jagger is engaged to marry Selena Mora, a wealthy freelance writer... though he is still in love with Babbit.
