10-12-02
I woke up feeling slightly ill. I cleaned and then ate breakfast. I went online for a bit and talked with some people while studying kanji at the same time. I send Cecilia an e-mail to see if she was going to Akido, and I was making that my deciding factor if I was going to go or not. She said that she was, so naturally I did not want to disappoint her by NOT going. So I reluctantly figured that I should go especially since I can not attend on Thursdays and I probably won't be able to go on Saturday next week either. So while I was trying to discern the temperature outside while in my room I saw that I received an e-mail. Cecilia had e-mailed me saying that she was sick, but I think that she just did want to come. I can not say that I don't blame her. So I felt my away message in hopes that my boyfriend would come online. I waited to see if the Japanese girl I went with last time was going. She came down and I went with her. We stopped at the conbinii since she slept late and did not eat any breakfast. She bought onigiri. We stopped at the j-phone store and they received my English manual, THANK GOODNESS!! I kept telling her all about my boyfriend, and she told me that Japanese people like praticing their English. Anyway I changed for Akido in the girls locker room but I felt weird doing so since it was just a room and girls just change. I dunno it was strange. So I was wearing all black, not intentionally, really. I felt that today was easier since I knew more people and I did not have to wander aimlessly looking for a partner. I meet some new girls, which is always a plus. I was watching the kendo pratice while i was resting for a bit and I noticed that their were two American boys praticing, one of which was very large, and seemed to have a hard time with kendo. I only ended up doing aikido for an hour then i was very tired. We changed and then went to eat. I remember the one girl's name, Sae. Then I bought my peanut tasting break and fruit blend drink. I found out that one of the girl's just return from going to Haverford College, and she knew of West Chester. I kept repeating how weird it was.... Anyway I asked the girl where I should go with my boyfriend and I jokingly said "rabu hoteru" and she replied, "i was going to say that." I showed them the Tokyo date book and they thought it was cool. Since I was not sure if my boyfriend was waiting or not I decided to return home. So I rushed back to the dorm... awww hey was not on. So i did some homework for a bit, and I ate dinner. I went back to homework and my Buddhism reading which is an interesting when it does not get too technical. I read my e-mail and two weird things happened. I received an e-mail from a friend of my mine from long ago and two I received an e-mail regarding a job that I inquired about but forgot about. Apparently the guy that I e-mailed he is a professor song writer, and he just needs someone to proofread his stuff. I was taken a back and I thought that this job would be very interesting. He said that it did not require any prior experience whatsoever, but I need a resume. I wrote Jim and e-mail and my computer froze again, so I decided to defrag it. The communication out meeting was tonight and it was basically Kaori begging ppl to go with her to this dorm party elsewhere, so I volunteered. She was glad and then some of the other girls volunteered. I did some more homework and then decided that I was done for the night. I waited online pretty late and decided that I should go to sleep.
