3. Lord Mayor�s Gala: East Park Sat 17th June 9.30 onwards. Very short of volunteers to help on stall in East Park. Sue to please circulate possible helpers; Ring or email Hilary [445747; [email protected]] or just turn up and offer.

4. HOTI organised publicmeeting re incinerator: Hedon Town Hall Sat 17th June 10 am. Similarly short of anyone to attend. Barrie has kindly offered to represent us. Sue please encourage people to attend if they prefer not to help in East Park.

5. Prospect Centre exhibition/ postcard signing event: Sat 15th July. Chrys and Hilary to set up, Ian and Haris to help, other helpers still wanted. Hilary to confirm time and contact Chrys. NB All, this is Prospect Centre not Princes Quay.

6. Food and Music event: [Decided to combine these] Aim for a weekday in Sept/Oct. Relax are OK about us having it there but we were unsure what Arthur would need re food preparation facilities; Chrys to contact Arthur and clarify. Ian has contacted musicians who are keen, and he will firm up arrangements over next few weeks. If date can be fixed before newsletter printed, Ian to inform Alan T.

7. CARGO: Milkfloat now based at Dalton St; David and Chrys trying to sort out problems with it not getting fully charged up. David deputising while Mark on holiday.

8. Earthmover Award: Chrys suggested nomination next year when beds more established and Council has piloted their green waste collection [Spring 2007]. Also hopefully someone would be able to attend conference. Agreed.

9. Tree planting: David arranged with Sculcoates residents planting along Barmston Drain near Sculcoates Bridge on Sun 3rd December 2006, 11.am to 1 pm.

10. Breathing Places event in Victoria Square: last Saturday very successful, attractive display of wildlife planting by Dave; good photos, good for reaching a wider audience.

11. Correspondance: Cancel Resource mag, too expensive and not reaching enough people. Local Strategic Partnership; Hilary still to find out why we are being asked to nominate when we thought we�d already voted on people for this. Conference : 8-10 Sept in Nottingham. Noone present could go; raise again next meeting, bookings needed by 18th August. Agreed to have an upper limit on expenditure but amount not decided.

12. Meeting place: It was felt that changing to Lambert St Pop-in would create access problems and decided to stay at Relax for time being. Chrys to up date the membership leaflets.

13. AOB; Bike Week - Saturday and Sunday 17/18 June 2006 at East Park. 10 to 4pm. Volunteers/ideas more than welcome. CHEF is being contracted by the City Council to take the bus. CHEF will be joined by the Community Warden's - cycle marking, Hull Museums (Historic Cycle Collection) as well as other relevant literature.

Green Fair: Decided to have one, Sat 25th November. Didn�t have enough info to discuss Beverley location suggested by Shan. Debbie to find out availability of Marist and Chanterlands Ave Baptist Church then venues discussed next month. Debbie offered to contact stallholders when venue decided.

Following the business meeting, there was a wide ranging discussion around Climate Change issues. Does anyone have info on how many trees you would need to plant to offset various activities, eg an air flight, or a year�s CO2 emissions by an average household? Perhaps this discussion could continue at the next meeting?
