#2 2003 The Year in Review (Part Two)
December 28th 2003
Hi again everyone and welcome to the second of the Gohan Extreme 3000 Summer Series of feature articles exploring this year and Dragonball Z. The other day I began with the first article exploring the first six months and all the major events that had happened including the Armageddon in Auckland, the TV3 DBZ Episode Skip, DBGT in the UK and USA and two new DBZ video games Ultimate Battle 22 and The Legacy of Goku 2. In Part Two I explore what happened from July to December including the end of the DBZ Tv series in NZ and the first appearence of DBGT in New Zealand!

JULY
July 2nd - The final ever Dragonball Z episode "Goku's Next Journey" screens in New Zealand

July 7th - DBZGT Legacy reveals probable dates and titles for Dragonball Z movies 9-13 whether these were true and were changed after they were revealed early will never be known. Movie 9 is called "Bojack: Supreme Evil" but the actual title is "Bojack: Unbound". I think Supreme Evil sounded better...

August 30th - I discover that Dragonball Z Budokai 1 for PS2 has gone platinum in New Zealand
SEPTEMBER
September 5th - The Dragonball GT cover art for NZ is revealed as being the same as the USA which upsets some fans, Funimation thanks the fans for making The Legacy of Goku 2 the number sone selling game on the Gameboy Advanced in the world for the month of July.

September 26th - Eliza Dushku is rumoured to be playing Chi Chi in the live action DBZ movie.
OCTOBER
Due to my own personal error I lost all the updates to this website between the 1st and 15th of October so all news from that time is unreported...sorry!
October 16th - Mamdman Australia announces the release of the original Dragonball TV series first 26 episodes in two DVD boxsets in January. These are later delayed until March
October 17th - Dragonball GT and DBZ Movie 8 are relased in New Zealand

November 7th - Dragonball GT begins airing on a weekly basis in the USA,
November 10th - I discover much to my joy that Dragonball Z Budokai 2 for PS2 will be released in NZ and Australia with the English voices.
November 14th - The UK becomes the first English speaking country to get Dragonball Z Budokai 2.
November 22nd - Budokai 2 becomes avaliable in New Zealand and Australia

December 10th - The Lycos Top 50 publishes its annual top 50 most searched for web topics and while Dragonball had previously come first in 2000 and 2001 the winner this yearit comes third with number one being Kazaa and two being Britney Spears.
December 19th - The DBZ fighting game for the Gameboy Advanced, Dragonball Z Taiketsu is released.
December 22nd - Cartoon Network begins a Dragonball Z marathon that also screens on the 23rd,24th and 26th,

And so ends 2003 in the world of DBZ but what about next year? What can we expect for 2K4? Sounds like a good topic for another article!
