100% Totally Chlorine Free Bleaching: TCF

One of UWSA's main goals, is to educate public officials and voters on saving our Health Care systems | costs | with industrial process changes...like eliminating all chlorine added to paper bleaching, TCF.

TCF is also referred to as PCF, processed chlorine free. TCF reduces the production of toxic chlorine chemicals like dioxin.

Certain TCF paper mills are also referred to as "closed-cycle bleach kraft" mills. TCF greatly reduces corrosive chlorine chemicals and thus reduces effluent water volume....the goal is to eventually recycle 100% of all water through | Living Machine TM | type effluent pond systems.

1. The US Dept. of Energy NICE3 Program* partially financed the conversion of a California paper mill from chlorine bleaching to TCF totally chlorine free bleaching.

Note: The mill is on a tourist section of the Pacific Ocean and additionally has limited space for Living Machine TM type effluent ponds.


2. The Canadian Reached for Unbleached group has studied the cost of paper mill conversion from chlorine bleached paper to TCF-PCF chlorine free bleaching technology. Understand that a small portion of the US $40 trillion | health care costs | ...would pay for conversion of every paper mill in the world.

JUSTIFICATION, FULL INCENTIVES

Full incentives to industry are critical to not disrupt the economy and jobs. Florida is a leader in this full incentives effort.

UWSA's main page shows justification for "returning" a portion of "taxes generated" to industry as incentives. These incentives are to change industrial processes to eliminate endocrine disruption and gene damage:
