Character Generation Session - all quotes OOC

On skills:
Jim: I want to be an arsonistic whaler.
Jim and Andrew: I set the whales on fire!

On unusual character concepts, not:
Amy: I want to wear men's clothing but not be a woman.

On sex-changes:
Amy: It's hard to give women a good working penis.

On being a whaler:
Jim: See, I would do it except it's kind of a pain to pack around a harpoon all the time.

Note: Renaldo (whenever anyone made an OOC quote for him this session) has some kind of weird indeterminate European accent.
On getting into character TOO much:
Amy: (as Renaldo, to Sarah's character Aileen) Hey baby, you want to go upstairs and I'll show you who's got a lot O'Toole?

On comic relief:
Andrew: There is "leather god Renaldo!"

On being articulate:
Morgan: Ooh, words. Syllables you string together to make sentences.

On service:
Andrew: If you're going to be beholden to a noble, chances are it's going to be Renaldo.
Morgan: Fuck, no!

On True Identity (the background):
Andrew: It's "I am secretly the King of France!" or "I'm the King of No Pants."

On Aileen's beauty:
Jim: (as Renaldo) Renaldo would be willing to sacrifice one of his followers for you. He would not die for you, but he would sacrifice Bob for you.

On what Ambrose can afford, i.e. the hilts of knives:
Morgan: I got the blades on lay-away, okay?

On Jim's character, Magnus
Andrew: My beard is my loincloth.

On cross-campaign humor and Renaldo's codpiece:
Andrew: I think it's a cod-statue.
Jim: It's got an Oompaloompa holding it up.
