Escapade Build Report

On September 4, 2006, we decided that it was time to start up the AeroVee.  After checking all the wires and pulling it out of the hangar, it was time to turn on the switches and push that button.

Earl, Cab, Tom and our EAA Technical Counselor Dale Jorgensen were all there to observe as Brian started it up.  It started up pretty quick although it took some adjustment to get the mixture just right.

Tom has an Aveo E-1 EIS in his Sonex and he helped us get some of the settings right.  We were mostly happy with the way that it ran after changing to a different needle in the AeroCarb but it will still take some minor tweaking to get it just right.
