Escapade Build Report

We decided to run our antenna cable back to the front of the turtle deck.  It needs to be attached to a piece of metal to be grounded.

When it came to getting the holes in the Lexan for the windows, we were concerned about how to do it without it cracking.  At first, we tried melting through it with a soldering iron but it took a while and it left rough edges when it dried.  After a few holes, we moved to the drill and it worked great.

Here is the turtle deck from the outside.  It has been painted and the windows are held in with clecos.  We will seal it with silicone and rivet it in place.

We have also rigged up some of the controls.  The aileron and the flap are hooked up and only minor tweaking should be needed before it is ready.
