Escapade Build Report

Getting back to work on the fuselage, we set up the battery box on the forward tabs.  This allows the battery to be easily accessed from the baggage area.

This "butt rib" is lined up by fitting the wings on the fuselage.  The pegs must be lined up, cut to the proper length, and glued in place.  When cut to the proper length, this rib will meet up perfectly with rib #1 on the wing.

We also took the time to trace and cut out the lexan for the doors and windows.  This was the easy part, the hard part comes when we have to line them up and drill the holes for the door and window frames.

Here the turtle deck sits in position.  At this time, we made rough cut outs for the cables.  When it is time for the final assembly, they will be lined up perfectly.
