UNION CAVE
Now proceed along the path just south of the Violet City until
you reach
Route 32. There are several trainers along the way. Eventually you will find a
Pok�mon centre just before the Union cave entrance. Enter the Pok�mon center and
talk to the fishing guru. He will give you the Old Rod. This can be used to
catch Magikarp. You can fish for a magikarp if you want just make sure you train
it to level 20 so that it can evolve to gyarados.
Now exit the Pok�mon Center and enter Union Cave. There are several trainers
inside and most use rock/ground types. This cave is immense and to fully explore
it you will need Surf
You can catch a Lapras on Friday if you have Surf. Just go south and then
to the west end of the cave and Surf across the small lake.
When you have Cut, you can come back to Route 32 and talk to a guy who will
give you TM05 Roar.
To get through the Union Cave all you have to do is go south and then to the
right to end up outside and at Route 33.
