HO-OH, LUGIA & SUICUNE
Gold/Silver - Go back to
Ecruteak City and enter the Tin Tower. Travel to the top of the tower and once
you have the rainbow wing you will see Ho-Oh. You can now battle it and try to
catch it. There are a few strategies for catching Ho-Oh. You can try putting the
pokemon to sleep after battling it for a while and then using a fast or ultra
ball. Also you may try using the move False Swipe and then catching it with the
fast or ultra ball. Finally and obviously the most reliable method is to use a
masterball.
Lugia
can be found in the Whirl Islands, near Cianwood City.
You'll need Pok�mon with Surf, Whirlpool, to get
to Lugia. Make sure you possess the Silver wing. To catch it try the same
strategies listed above.
Crystal - To have a chance to catch Suicune, you must first meet it in
three different places in Johto. Right outside of National Park on Route 36, the
middle entrance of Mt. Mortar, and next to the Poke Seer's house in Cianwood.
Now fight the Wise Trio inside the house that leads to the Tin Tower. They each
have a Noctowl, and one of Eevee's old three evolutions. After beating them, go
to the Tin Tower, where you'll fight Suicune. CATCH IT!!!
Entei and Raikou appear randomly throughout Johto. This is how I
captured them. Train a pokemon to level 39 and have this as your lead pokemon.
Next stock up on Max repels. Fly to New Bark Town. Get on your bike and activate
the repel. Next ride through all the routes and eventually you will see them. If
you are playing this game on an emulator try increasing the emulator's speed. In
this way hours in the game will pass by like minutes. Using this method I caught
both Entei and Raikou by the time I reached route 31. Since these pokemon
appear in random places, the time taken to catch them will vary from person to
person
