CANADIAN VOLUNTEERS FOR YESHA,

CVFY is an organization committed to bringing highly motivated Jews to
communities in Israel where the security burden is too high for the army
to fill alone. We will give
the opportunity to those who wish to help the Jewish Nation, by
coming to Israel and volunteering to help defend Jewish towns, working
alongside the army, and civilian security forces.
As of now, several different programs have been set up for students and adults, giving volunteers a wide range of volunteer programs to choose from that will allow them to help save lives, while at the same time continuing their education, such as study in Yeshiva, College, or Ulpan. (See JL Programs) CVFY is an organization that needs your support to succeed in its mission of bringing volunteers, and raising funds to purchase vital security equipment, a true life and death matter, as we are painfully reminded of, far too often. Many Canadian Jews are willing to come to Israel and due their duty to help protect their Jewish brothers and sisters, but cannot because they lack the funds and framework to do so. In order to make it easier for these idealistic Jews to choose to come and help Am Yisrael, CVYF through the Jewish Legion (a civilian volunteer security organization in Israel) has arranged to have volunteers flown, housed and given allowance for their other needs. The costs are enormous, and therefore we must turn to you for both financial support, and any other help that you can provide in order to show the world, that Canadian Jews have not abandoned Israel and on the contrary will deliver in this great time of need for the Jewish State.
