Many volunteers from North America have dropped everything to come Israel and help save Jewish lives. This is why the Jewish Legion is trying to allow volunteers to continue their normal lives as much as possible, and therefore to continue their education while volunteering. The Jewish Legion has arranged through the College of Judea and Samaria (Ariel College) for full scholarships for all its volunteers.
