The Old Odean Cinema This unused building is unsightly, unsafe and quickly becoming a health hazard, and played no or little part in Hartlepool's regeneration as a whole. Concerns were made that the present owners have not delivered their promises, made in the original planning application. The question about its grade two-listed building status
was also raised as to wether this should be overturned. Action taken = Informed Arthur Preece, Leader of Hartlepool Borough Council.
