Lionel Armstrong

I am a freelance photographer from North Vancouver, BC, Canada and I use older Canon cameras ( EF, FTb, FP, AE1-P ). I use my Gossen Lunasix 3 handheld meter instead of ttl metering and I have no interest in auto-focus or digital cameras. I do a lot of experimental imaging as well as normal nature and landscape photography. I have a few of my images for sale on display at a local gallery.

To get an accurate balancing of the light source to your film you can use the Mired System to calculate which filter or combination of filters you need to get "perfect color". I have made up a handy chart to explain The Finer Points of Color Correction

"Rainbow Tide"
is a triple exposure as follows: Exp#1: P003 + P024 Exp#2: P004 + P024 Exp#3: Lee #47B (in gel filter holder) + P024  * The P024 on all three exposures is to correct for the warm cast when the tri-color method is used.

"Splashes in the Ocean of Dreams"
is also a triple exposure the same as above except for there is no P024 used on all three exposures.

On each of the three exposures I threw a handful of rocks into the water to produce the splashes.

Wnat to know how this was done? What filters to use? read how on the Multiple Exposure Effects page

I used a P056 Star 8 to add some interest to this snow covered stairway at night.
