Creative Mask
With this ingenious filter kit, you can create a photomontage. The Creative Mask system is used in exactly the same way as the Double Mask system (#'s 342 and 345) except that the mask and counter mask are no longer central holes but other shapes custom-made by you the photographer . This is accomplished by tracing patterns on pieces of colored plastic (enclosed with kit) and cutting them out with a graphics knife (not included). By adhering the different cut out patterns to a Cokin Basic filter (included) and carefully overlapping them in your Cokin holder, the desired montage can be created. The light reading for each part of the montage must be taken without the filter in place.
