 When you place a Cokin Prism in front of the lens, you can create  truly surprising effects. Even if you are not a painter, you'll create real works of Art that you can frame and hang on your walls. The Cokin Prism allows you to bring out the blue, yellow, green and red colors that make up white light  this is the same dispersion effect that creates rainbows. The prism can be positioned in different directions to create incredible effects. You can turn ordinary subjects into impressionistic works of art.

Helpful hints :
  Best results are obtained with 135 to 250 mm lenses. Yellow, red and blue separate best with high contrast subjects. Find the best position for the prism by rotating it in the Cokin Modular hood, with the large surface facing the subject, and try moving the prism vertically while rotating the filter holder. To shoot a subject in front of you, you may have to aim at the sky, the ground, or to the left or right. The prism can be combined with color graduated Filters.
