Color Varnish
Become a painter and hang your pictures on your walls. It's easy with this set of five bottles of alcohol Varnish and a Cokin Basic filter (376). Carefully apply light touches of color onto the Basic filter. The cap of each bottle contains a brush for this purpose. The choice of color and where to apply it will depend on the subject. Apply the varnish in small strokes. (Do not mix colors with each other, except on the Basic filter.) The filter should not be inserted into the rear groove but placed far forward.

1. Use wide-angle lenses at the smallest aperture. Longer focal lengths will only produce a diffused color haze,
2. Apply the spots of color as lightly as possible.
3. To clean the filter immerse it in very hot water for 5 minutes. Peel off the varnish or clean the filter with alcohol and a cotton swab
