 Cross processing is a method in color photography where slide film is processed in negative film developer. It can then be printed as color negatives. Experimentation will be needed to find the "correct" filtration for each image.

   The two processes are unrelated, but when the two are combined colours and contrast are exaggerated producing almost a "psychedelic" effect

  In this way you get pictures with little tonal range, many of the nuances melting together and becoming one color. Many colors become very saturated. Skin tones often become lighter and nuances disappear, which can give a real stunning portrait.

  Do not have too high expectations with the first roll you take, rather you can perhaps only analyze what works well and what doesn’t....

  I used Kodak ELITE Crome for this try at it, and had a lot of fun too.
