| The Du'at The Du'at consists of the three council members who advise the leader of the Clan. Be the leader male or female, they are refered to as the Eldest, or "Old Man of the Mountain". The Caliph, "The one who follows", is the military head of the Clan and the Old Man's second in command. The Amr, serves as the chief sorcerer of Alamut, the secret Holy place in which all Assamites are welcome to seek refuge. The Vizier is the cheif scholar of the Clan and is equal in status to the Caliph. He advises the Old Man in the affairs of the other members of the clan, and keeps the Clan's library. |
