Darshan was born in Gujarat, India. Around the age of seven, he began his training in Somnath Temple not long after it was rebuilt to become a monk. Once his training was completed, he went on a pilgrimage to Lingaraja Temple in Orrisa. Once that was finished, he journeyed back to Gujarat to tell his family the good news. When he returned, he found that his mother had fallen ill and died. He mourned and went visit her resting place praying for her. Darshan then advanced his studies of self-defense using his fists and clubs. He went to Somnath Temple one final time to pray then decided to journey to find his purpose. He then met a fellow wanderer who tried to steal his gold but he defended himself successfully knocking the man unconscious but not before the man could scar the back of his right hand with a dagger. He tied the man to a tree using the man's own rope then tossed the dagger thirty feet from the man so he would not be able to easily get free giving Darshan time to escape. About a year later, he arrived in a town named Chester and decided to spend some time there learning the way. He currently resides there but goes outside of town for food and water since he does not speak the native language of the town. |
