Wet

Buzzers

The most popular size of hook used when fly fishing 10, 12 and 14 down eyed. Wet fly fishing uses a leader with two or three droppers. The Bloody Butcher (above) is a good choice of a point fly to attract the trout and on the droppers usually a Greenwell's Glory Blae and Black, or an Invicta.
Wet fly fishing is all action, when nothing is being caught, continuous casting with the appropriate retrieval is required. A good breeze and overcast conditions suit this form of fishing.
Other flies to consider are the Black Pennell, Alexandra, Silver March Brown and the Teal and Black.
