in Long Beach, Washington

Any one of this guys' cousins can catch and eat more fish in one day than I can catch with a two hundred foot gill-net in one day. I don't fish with a gill net anymore but this guy and his cousins are still eating hundreds of fish a day.

Entering the beach from the main part of town. Long Beach has several large events scheduled throughout the year. Long Beach is about a mile north of Ilwaco and it would be a great place to visit or to spend a weeks vacation. Some people in Long Beach say it is the biggest "party town in the whole state".

After cruising under that sign saying this is the longest beach in the world, I am on the beach. The State of Hawaii is just over the horizon. If you look to the southwest, about fifteen hundred miles or so, you can see those nice Pacific Blue Marlins right off the Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. I hope to catch me a 300 pound marlin next time I am in Kona. I'll take a picture looking northeast from Waimea on the Island of Oahu, my favorite place to surf, next time I go there. Then you can see what the State of Washington looks like from there.

When you are leaving the beach, take it from me... you want to stay on the hard-packed sand. This guy that helped me was from Florida, I hope he remembers this web-address.
