Killing Monsters:

You can get tons of money from killing monsters. After you reach a good level combat and your skills are pretty high, you are ready to kill hard monsters for cash or rare item drops. Some examples of monsters that give good drops are: Dragons (green, blue, red, black) for their bones, hides, and chance of dropping a clue or other rare items; hellhounds for clue scrolls; shadow warriors in legends guild for dragon sq left half, herbs, and many types of runes. Below you will see a chart of suggested monsters to kill. Good luck!

Kalphite Queen Hunting!*:

The items you will need:

• Anti-poison potion
• Prayer potion
• One person will have to carry two ropes, or two people can each carry one
• Some runes for teleportation, as you will definitely need to teleport out at some time
• Two methods of attack, one melee and one range or magic
• Also, do not forget your Shantay Pass
• The rest should be lobsters/sharks
• Don't bring dragon scimitar, as it will not work on the KQ
• A team of AT LEAST 5, as it is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to solo the Kalphite Queen

One extremely rare drop from the Kalphite Queen is the 23M worth Dragon Chain! One you get to about level 110-126 you can probably solo the KQ, and if you get one you wouldn't have to split the dough. :)

Attack Types:
The KQ's first form uses 2 prayers (Protectfrom Magic and Protect from Range) so your only method of attack is Melee. I use a Halberd, as it takes only 1 space, and it has a distanced attack, keeping her biting you. Plus, if you use a Dragon Halberd you can use its special attack, for 2 hits, and with a lot of people doing that the hits really add up. Iban Blast won't work on her, it has been tested and proven, many a people have asked that. Also do not use spells under bolt and NO arrows weaker than mithril, as you will hardly hit her with these so its a waste.

Barrows*:

The items you will need:

• About 10 prayer potions (3) or (4)
• A Spade- (MOST IMPORTANT)
• One or two restore potions (recommended)
• Ectophial or Camelot teleport runes
• Farseer helm, red/black dragonhide body, mystic/ghostly bottom, prayer book, staff and appropiate runes for waterblast or higher, gauntlets/gloves, god/legends cape, climbing boots
  OR
• Full black dragonhide, archer helmet, crystal bow/magic shortbow, climbing boots, god/legends cape
• The other 15-20 spaces in your inventory should be full of sharks or swordfish.

To get to Barrows:
Follow these simple steps to get to the Barrows:

1. Finish the Priest in Peril quest and head to the gate south of the mushroom patch near Canifis.
2. Gather all your items and head through the gate. (make sure you have full NRG because you will have to run through the ghasts)
3. When you get to the lighter part of the swamp, turn off your run, and follow the pathway to a bridge.
4. Turn on your run again, cross the bridge, then another bridge, through a small city, and go to a graveyard where there are five or six hill-looking mounds.
5. Dig on one of the mounds and you will end up in a tomb where one of the Barrows Brothers is.
6. Open the coffin to fight.

Since the temple drains your prayer, you must drink about 2 doses of a prayer potion depending on your level to restore your prayer when fighting the Brothers-or any other monsters. When you have 2 prayer potions left and about 5 sharks/swordfish left in your inventory, head to the underground tunnel and quickly attempt to claim your prize in the chest. If you don't get your prize-if any, you won't lose anything, but will just have to go back to get it the next time you come.
