Tenchi Masaki
A student in highschool, Tenchi never knew that his life would change so drastically when visitors from a different planet landed right by his house. Not only were they "aliens", but they were also in shapes on beautiful women. there was the Space Pirate, Ryoko; Princess Ayeka & Sasami, princess' of Jurai; A genius by the name of Washuu, and Galaxy Police officers, Mihoshe & Kiyone.
Something that Tenchi is very unaware of, is the fact that he is half Jurai, as well as prince of Jurai which he inherits from the bloodline of his grandfather, Yoshu. As a Jurai, Tenchi is capable of summoning Jurai's greatest energey, "Lighthawk Wings". He knows of the ancient Jurai matial arts, but although he has discipline enough to master those skills, he stills acts like quite a fool. But when his friends are in danger, he's always there to help them out.

Ayeka
Ayeka is Princess of the planet of Jurai, but when her beloved planet was attacked by a mencaing pirate, Ryoko, Ayeka took it upon herself to dispose of the fiend. During the fight the two encounted, both ships fell onto earth, crashing right smack into the lake in front of Tenchi's home. With her ship massacred in the crash, Ayeka had no choice but to remain with him until she could find out a way to return home. Over time, Ayeka grew fond of Tenchi despise her hard shell. She often argues with Ryoko, who also became stranded there. Now, not only because they were enemies, but because Ryoko would often show her own affection towards tenchi, making Ayeka quite jealous.
Ayeka isn't as powerful as the skilled Tenchi, but her powers aren't to be underestimated as well. When her friends are in any danger, Ayeka can create a shield to protect them or use energy to finish off her enemies.

Sasami
The younger sibling of Ayeka, Sasami is also a princess. being the younger sibling is just a title to her though, her being the one that cooks, cleans and is responsible for the majority of the chores. Often times, she's a lot more mature than even Ayeka herself! Sasami has a fondess for the ever popular tenchi, but being young and pre-occupied with other things, she doesn't bother chasing and glomping the poor guy. Instead she spends her free time with a cabbit by the namke of Ryo-Ohki. They're hardly ever seen apart throughout the series.

Ryoko
This space pirate had no plans on landing on earth, but being shot down by Ayeka after battle between the two, Ryoko found herself in the highschool of Tenchi. At first glance, Ryoko attacked the highschool student, but it backfired and she ended up uncouncious. Tenchi felt pity for the unusual stranger and took her home with him. upon awakening from her sleep, she was a bit confused and reluctant, but after realizing that she was pretty much stranded, Ryoko decided to remain there with Tenchi. Over time she fell in love with him and often tries to seduce him but hugging him and continuously attempting to kiss him. Ryoko is the second strongest warrior next to Tenchi.

Washuu
Washuu is a mad scientist who actually created both Ryoko and Ryo-Ohki. She's often in her lab and will use anyone near her as guinea for her experiments. Like most he other others, Washuu also likes Tenchi, but remains a child(Little-Washuu) because she believes that the adult world is too cruel and currupt and unjust.

Mihoshi
A member of the Galaxy Police, Mihoshi is basically a walking disaster. She's only a part of the department because her grandfather is cheif, and just her luck she get's a proud hard working officer. She's like a child, neive and gullible, she isn't exactly the brightest crayon in the box.

Kiyone
Kiyone's a proud Galaxy officer, she puts all her effort into her job, despite all that she has to go through with her partner Mihoshi. Kiyone Doesn't bother Tenchi as much as the other girls, in fact she mentions but once that she actually likes him( When she's trying to get Ryoko to talk to her).

Ryo-Ohki!
This little critter actually hatched a short while after Ryoko became stranded in Tenchi's house, and for a while she would say that it was their kin. Although adorable at first glance, this cabbit is much more than what it seems, She's actually Ryoko's space ship, and a powerful one at that. The majority of the time she remains a cute little carrot eating cabbot. Although Ryoko's property, Ryo-Ohki is Sasami's best friend and always together with her.
