Ikki Tenryou
Ikki tenryou is a ten year old boy who dreams of having a medabot, but not having enough money to afford one, it seems that it would remain just a dream. Soon he realizes that he seems to be the only person without a medabot in his entire school! One day while thinking about how cool it would be to have a medabot, luck seems to strike him, because right in front of him was a Beetle Metal!
He later buys an older Medabot model, KBT type to be exact. Everyone make's fun of him and his 'antique' medabot. Although, at first,Metabee(Ikki's Medabot) and Ikki don't seem to get along, on the field the two are a match made in heaven.

Metabee Metabee is Ikki's Medabot. Metabee is the sort of wise-crack in the series, and a lot more care-free than the rest of the characters in the series.. not to a flirt. Metabee loves to robattle, and probably holds himself higher than most other Medabots would.He's practically the exact opposite of Ikki, but through it all the two remain best friends.

Erika Amazaki
Ikki and erika have been the best of friends since they started school. Erika has a more bossy attitude towards her comapnions, but it helps her get what she wants, as well as motivate her team mates. But beside that, Erika has a kind heart as well, as often gives advice to Ikki when needed.
She has always been fond of journalism. In fact, she photographs every single one of Ikki's battles, and interviews as many people as possible. She's always out to get the scoop on the medabot world.

Brass
Being Erika's medabot, brass is very sweet and gentle. She's not strong enough to battle alongside Medabee in robattles, so she spends the majority of her time helping Erika out with her stories. She also roots the team on in battles on the sidelines.

Koji Karakuchi
Koji and Ikki don't get along much throughout the series, especially because of the crush the two share with Karin. Koji is prosperous child with a kind of stuck-up attitude, although he's a fantastic team mate out on the field alongside Ikki. they don't get along much out here as well, but when it comes down to it, the two make a fantastic team.

Sumilidon
Sumilidon is Koji's medabot, and they're pretty much the best of friends. Sumilidon is a more cheerful medabot and often brings hope to the team in the time of need. He's a swift & strong medabot because of his special metal; Kuwagata. Sometimes Koji may push him a little too far, but Similidon always stays strong and make's it through.

Karin Junelie
Karin is the innocent one in this series, and is often seen cleaning with her medabot, Neutranurse. All the boys in school like her, especially Ikki & Koji. She always does her best to help out her team, especially as the nurse of Dr. Aki(The creator of Medabots). She often helps the team with transportation to different tournaments & such.

Neutranurse
Neutranurse is as kind hearted as her owner,Karin. The two are actually known as The Legendary Duo because of the fact that they've never lost a match. Neutranurse has great defense, as well as the ability to heal herserlf and her fellow team mates.
