Spike Spiegel
As the main character of our story Spike's past remains ambiguous until the very end of the series. He's a whitty character who doesn't seem to care much about being safe, but despite his nonchalant visage he works well with his team of bounty hunters as they take out only the baddest of bad guys in the galaxy...as long as the money make's it worth his while.

Jet Black
The captain of the Bebop; he's a retired cop who had lost his arm a long time ago. He's the father figure of the Bebop crew and seems to be the only one who is responsible when it comes to money. He's the only person who does repairs on all of the equipment aboard the Bebop, with the help of Ein no less.

Faye Valentine
She's a brash character who can't seem to have enough cash. She enjoys gambling and almost always spends her money doing just that or paying off debts. Someone is always after her due to her constant cocky attitude and blunt personality. Not much is known about her past except that she was in a cryogenic statis due to certain disasters that occured on her home planet,Earth, which are never explained. Throughout the series she travels with the Bebop crew in hopes of finding out about her past.

Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky the Fourth
Known as "Ed" for short, this virtual genius can hack into absolutely anything if it can be found on the net. She was born on what remained of earth and spent her entire time playing in cyberspace. Her personality is wild and sweet. She is always heard around the ship singing songs of absolute randomness. She has a close attachment to both Ein and Faye, even though Faye doesn't seem to find much a liking to this wild child.

Ein
A pure bred Genius dog, Ein was unintentionally taken aboard the Bebop and sort of got stuck with the crew. He was developed in an illegal research laboratory and then stolen by an anonymous person where he was soon retrieved by no other than Spike. He's always assisting the Bebop crew and enjoys hacking the web just as much as Edward seems to enjoy to. Edward took a liking to him as soon as she laid eyes on him and eventually got the crew to let him stay.
