Talespin Studio- (http://ford.ieor.berkeley.edu/~hyuan/talespin/): "An interactive fiction collection" featuring collaborative stories: Tripping Fate (a romance), the Artifact Compendium (fantasy tales centering around magical objects), and Fishbowl Asteroid (an alien contact story). Each contributor has the option to extend an existing branch of the story, or create a new one. These are all works-in-progress: a couple of the tales have catchy beginnings, but none have advanced to middles or endings yet. (27 Feb 97)
The Unit Circle - (http://www.etext.org:80/Zines/UnitCircle/): Billing itself as "Dis-content Providers on the 'Net since 1993," this magazine-format website includes a small selection of fiction in addition to poetry and non-fiction articles. (02 Mar 97)
Vermont Authors Page - (http://www.acmeville.com/vap/) - This is a quarterly collection of new works by--you guessed it--authors from Vermont. "VAP" features a mix of maintstream, SF, and horror stories, plus a smattering of non-fiction and poetry. Much worthwhile reading here, making this site a recommended browse. If you enjoy a good shudder, check out the very short horror story "Business Trip" in the VAP Archives. (18 Apr 97)
Vita Amory's Rejected Works - (http://www.unde.clara.net): Vita's introduction describes the site best: "Genre-bending kinky romantic comedies that had stunned publishers reaching for their rejection slips." A great balance between naughtiness and dry British humor. (07 Dec 97)
