Eclectica Magazine - (http://www2.polarnet.com/~eclectic): Living up to its name, this monthly webzine publishes a wide selection of short stories, poems, essays, and reviews of new films and books. They mix mainstream and genre works with abandon. The short stories here are very good, and the variety of styles and subjects is broad enough that nearly everyone will find something to suit their tastes. (18 Apr 97)
Electric Mercado - (http://www.mercado.com/literatura/): EM is a "Latino cultural center and marketplace." The site has an excellent literatura page featuring poetry and prose from a selection of Latino writers. The writing is predominantly English--you don't have to speak Spanish to enjoy this site (but it helps). Some very good stories. (30 Sept 97)
eSCENE - (http://www.escene.org/): Here's a great idea. . . visit the top literary 'zines on the Web, collect the best stories you find, and serve them up in one very cool site. eSCENE offers a sampling of some of the tastiest delicacies in the Web smorgasborg. Highly recommended. (12 July 97)
Event Horizon - (http://www.wwco.com/scifi): An excellent e-zine featuring a mix of fantasy, science fiction, and some horror. Each issue is packed with a wide selection of prose and poetry from both new and established authors. Recommended. (30 Sept 97)
