Machine Embroidery

I have recently purchased Memory Craft 10000 by Janome. This machine is wonderful. I am new at machine embroidery and have a lot to learn. Here are the first of my finished projects.

My youngest grand-daughter is learning to tell time. This clock face was a free design on the internet. I backed with a small cardboard box and added the hands.

Dec 2002 These are but a few of the many coasters I made for family and friends for Christmas. I embroideried the design on felt, applied vinyl to the back with a fusible web, glued to old CD's that I have been collecting and then glued another piece of felt to the back of the CD.

Dec 2002 My daughter needed a bag to hold her son's lasso and gloves that would be a Christmas gift. Without a pattern, I came up with this bag that I embroideried his name and a free design I found on the internet at auntymdesign.com. There is a zippered pocket in the front for his gloves.

August 2002-My grand-daughter Chelsea will soon be loosing her first tooth so I made this little "Tooth Fairy Pillow" for her. This project was found on the internet at Sew Ter-fic

June 2002 -This four "Sunbonnet Sues" wall hanging is hand appliqued and quilted. The machine embroidery complements the wall hanging and gives it that extra charm.

July 2002 - I now machine embroidery the quilt labels for my quilts. Here are but a few.

August 2001 -A little birth announcement to frame for my niece

August 2002 - These are the front of cards that I have inserted an embroidery design. They were free embroidery designs found on the internet that were sewn on tulle sandwiched between water soluble Super Solvy. I just printed the card leaving the front blank. Cut out the size needed for the design to show through.

I made this table runner for my daughter from a free design I found on the internet, just used a built in scallop for the edge, quick and easy. 07/17/02

August 2002 - Another table runner but this one is quilted and has snowflake machine embroidery. The snowflakes can be found at Stars Creative Designs

A combination of quilting and machine embroidery completes the quilt named "Barbie's Friend Sue". The dog was sewn on white felt and the cloud on tulle then stitched onto the quilt over the outline stitching. 07/16/02

I have finished this table topper the finished photo is below. These flower designs came programed into my machine.
The finished table topper, I even found a quilt pattern to put in the corners..
