More Applique

January, 2001
This quilt was made for my sister as a retirement gift. With 37 years at her workplace, it's time to kickback and enjoy life more. Her and hubby spend many weekends on their boat but now plan live part time on it. Naturally I had to do something nautical.

Now all my grandchildren have a quilt from Gammie, this is Dakota's quilt as you can see. Has all the boy toys. Finished 12/17/00

The flowers on this quilt is needle turn applique, the Sam and Sue is button hole applique. This quilt was made for my grand-daughter Chelsea.

This wall hanging just might be my favorite so far. Some of the appliques are from the book "Buttonhole Stitch Applique" by Jean Wells.

Another quilt from the book "Buttonhole Stitch Applique" by Jean Wells is this delightfully whimsical outdoor scene. It ended up much bigger than planned.

The last quilted wall hanging I made had a Christmas theme. The "I love Winter" quilt is now put away until next December.

This quilted wall hanging is currently hanging in my kitchen. When I look at it I will feel warm and cozy on these cold and snowing days..

Please don't hesitate to e-mail me. Sharon
