| After leaving Knock Up Stream, the Straw Hats come to a vast ocean in the sky. This is �White Sea�. Immediately, they are attacked by a mysterious warrior. Just in the nick of time, a figure riding a horse appears and rescues them. He calls himself the �Knight of the Sky�. He gives them a whistle and tells them to blow it when they need help. When they continue on their way, they come to Heaven�s gate � the entrance to Sky Piea. An old woman charges them an entrance fee but they do not pay. They enter Heaven�s Gate and come to Sky Island where they land on Angel Beach. Here they meet Conis and her father, citizens of Sky Piea. They explain to the Straw Hats about Waivers and Dials. Waivers are special vehicles that can move on the seas without a sail or paddles. Dials are power sources used on Sky Piea to power various instruments such as the waiver. Conis also tells them about a forbidden place on Sky Piea � God�s Holy Land known as �Upper Yard�. This is where God Eneru lives, the ruler of Sky Piea. Nami comes across this place while riding on the waiver and she witnesses the awesome power of God�s priests living in Upper Yard. She overhears them talking about the Straw Hats being illegal trespassers and needs to be punished. She hastily returns to Angel beach to tell Luffy. Back on Angel Beach, the Straw Hats are confronted by the �White Beret Squad�. They are told to pay the entrance fee or be punished for illegal tresspassing. Nami arrives back on Angel Beach and refuses to pay the high price. The White Beret captain is angered and attacks them. Luffy easily defeats him and they get ready to set sail. Luffy, Sanji and Usopp return to Conis�s house to gather some materials before leaving. At the same time, Going Merry is dragged away with Nami, Robin, Zoro and Chopper on board to Upper yard to receive �Heaven�s Judgement�. They are to become sacrifices and Luffy, Usopp and Sanji are hostages which have to go through Heaven�s Judgement. They are taken to the port by Conis to set off to Upper Yard. Here, she reveals that it was all a trap. She reveals that she was the one who called for Going Merry to be captured. It is part of �Civic Resposibility� � if she did not do it, she would be killed. As lightning strikes from the sky to punish her for revealing this, the �Knight of the Sky� appears and rescues her. It is revealed that he is actually �Gon Fouru� the real God of Sky Piea. Luffy, Usopp and Sanji set out towards God�s Land � Upper Yard!! |
