| After leaving Sky Piea, the Straw Hats decide that they should use the gold to repair and upgrade the Going Merry. Thus Luffy decides that their next crewmate should be a carpenter. While sailing towards the next island, they encounter a pirate ship which is very battered and forlorn. The crew look disheartened and depressed. Their ship was then swallowed by a huge wave. The Straw Hats come to a very peculiar island. This is Long Ring Long Island where everything is elongated. There, they meet a beautiful horse who is waiting for its master. Luffy sees a moving bamboo and breaks it. A man falls down from the bamboo. His name is Tonjit, a nomad who lives on the island. He is the master of Sherry, the horse. Tonjit had been stuck on top of the bamboo stilt for 10 years and is grateful to Luffy for helping him down. He tells them that Long Ring Long island is ring-shaped and every three years they move to each island when the tide subsides. However, he can cross an island a year if he has a horse � which is Sherry. Tonjit goes outside to see Sherry and rides her across the plains. Suddenly, Sherry is shot and tumbles to the ground. The people who shot her appear, they are the Foxy Pirates group and they challenge Luffy to an official �Davy Back fight�. Luffy, of course, accepts the challenge. A �Davy Back fight� is a gambling game played between pirates. It is a way to fight over pirates. Rules: - - The 3-coin rule (3 rounds per game) First Round : Donut Race Objective : To go around the island once on a ship. Rules: Participants are allowed to use any weapons. Their crewmates on land are allowed to assist. Participants: Straw Hat Pirates : Nami, Robin, Usopp Boats : Straw Hat pirates � Barrel Tiger Winner : Foxy Pirates crew Crew taken from losers : Tony Tony Chopper Second Round : Groggy Ring Objective : Throwing your ball into the enemy�s goal. Rules : - - There are two goals on each side of the ring Participants : Straw Hat Pirates : Ball - Sanji, Zoro Foxy Pirates : Groggy Monsters : Ball - Hambog, Pickles, Wotan Winner : Straw Hat Pirates crew Crew taken from losers : Tony Tony Chopper Third Round : Battle Round Objective : Defeat your opponent on a battle field Rules : Battle field will be chosen by a field-chooser cannon. Chosen Battle field : The Foxy Pirates Ship Participants : Straw Hat Pirates : Monkey D. Luffy Foxy Pirates : Foxy the Silver Fox Winner : Straw Hat Pirates Chosen prize : Foxy Pirates crew�s pirate flag. After winning the Davy Back fight, Luffy and the rest go back to meet Tonjit. There, they run into Aokiji the �Blue Pheasant�. He is one of the Supreme Admirals of the Marine Headquarters. He is here to recalculate the bounty for the Straw Hats since Nico Robin has joined the group. He then uses the powers of his elemental class Devil Fruit, the �Hie Hie fruit�, to turn the sea into ice in order for Tonjit to travel to other islands and reunite with the other nomads. |
| - The victor from each game may pick one crew from the loser�s team - If there is no desirable crew in the loser�s team, the victor may choose to take the loser�s pirate flag. |

| The actual field is the area within 50m radius of where the cannonball landed. Any weapon is allowed. Aside from the contestants, no other person is allowed on the field. The first person to kick the opponent out of the field wins. Spaces above and under the field are part of the field. |
| Tonjit leaves, but Aokiji suddenly decides to kill the Straw Hats, especially Robin. |
| Using his powers |
| he freezes Robin and turns her to ice. Zoro and |
| Sanji try to stop him, |
| but their hands |
| and feet are turned to ice as well. Before he |
| manages to shatter |
| Robin to pieces, |
| Luffy saves her and Usopp and Chopper rush her |
| back to the ship to |
| thaw her and save |
| her life. Luffy then challenges Aokiji to a �Mano A |
| Mano� with him. |
| Zoro, Sanji and Nami go back to the ship. Zoro and |
| Sanji jump into the sea to |
| thaw themselves. |
| Luffy is easily defeated by Aokiji and turned to ice. |
| Aokiji leaves the island. |
| Zoro and Sanji run back |
| and rescue Luffy to thaw him in the ship as |
| well. Finally, both Luffy |
| and Robin managed to be |
| saved. After they have fully recovered, they |
| set sail towards the next |
| destination on the Grand |
