3/4 of a lb of lean ground beef or ground chuck |

1/2 cup Bulgur |

1/2 cup grated carrot |

1/4 cup chopped onion |
 |

1/4 cup minced fresh parsley or 1 tbs. dried parsley |

1/4 tsp. lemon pepper |
 |

1/4 cup rolled oats |
 |

1/2 cup ketchup |
 |
|
1 tsp. stone ground mustard |
 |
|
1 tsp. soy sauce |
 |
|
1/2 tsp. minced garlic |
 |
|
1/2 cup pizza sauce |
 |

Cook the bulgur by placing it in a saucepan with 1 cup of water. Bring this to a boil then turn the heat down to medium low and let it simmer there until the water is absorbed. This should take about ten minutes. When the bulgur is finished place it into a bowl and let it cool.
In a large bowl place the ground beef, onion, parsley, lemon pepper, eggs, rolled oats, carrot, and the bulgur once it has cooled. Mix this all up.
Now mix up the sauce ingredients which are the soy sauce, ketchup, mustard, garlic, and pizza sauce. Put half of the sauce mix into the meat mixture and stir to mix it in. Now place the meat mixture in a pan. Spread the other half of the sauce on top of the meatloaf.
Cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
