Italian Meat Balls

   1/2 lb. lean ground beef
   1 cup diced onion
   1 tbs. olive oil
   1/4 tsp. garlic salt
   2 eggs
   1/2 cup regular rolled oats
   1 tbs. processed parmesan cheese
   1 tsp. Italian seasoning
   1/2 cup Italian seasoned croutons,crushed
   1 cup Pasta sauce
   1/2 cup pizza sauce
Combine the olive oil and garlic salt in a small bowl. Pour over the minced onions and sauté just until the onions have begun to soften.
Combine ground beef, eggs, rolled oats, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, croutons, and sautéed onions.
In another bowl, combine the pasta sauce and pizza sauce.
Form the meat mixture into balls and place in a casserole dish, pour sauce mixture over top and bake in a 400 degree oven for 40 minutes. Every oven is slightly different so make sure to cut one meatball in half to check for doneness, it should no longer be pink inside.
