To a non-elf, Liamelia Forest seems to be...just a forest.  There are no roads or trails within the forest to suggest that there is any kind of settlement nearby.  The only real recognizable feature that hints at the location of the kingdom are the great trees deep in the forest, cultivated and grown by the blood and care of the elven druids, clerics and wizards.

Aside from the large green forest bordered by mountains on the northern and southern sides, rivers and oceans to the northwest and east, there are no other major geographical features until you are in the inner forest itself.  Once inside the inner forest, it is notable that the trees seem more alive and more vibrant as well as much larger, which in fact they are.  Magic tingles in the air as one walks among these trees.  A silver hue briefly shines as the little bit of light from the sun shines across the bark.  The large canopy leaves a semi-greenish glow adding to the enchantment to the place.  As one wanders about the place, groans and other noises can be heard, as if the trees themselves are talking to each other, watching every traveler that passes by them.

Warm and sometimes damp, the environment is normal though slightly controlled, through the use of cloud and weather control spells, to enhance growth of all plants while still preventing physical damage to the landscape. Lightning storms are quite common here, and the Silver Oak is struck often.  This only directs the absorbed energy, sending small amounts of it into the soil at any given time, invigorating the earth and promoting growth.

Tarnruth's Woods:  The northern part of the forest is home to the great Treants that live within Liamelia Forest.  Here is where Tarnruth the Fierce dwells in an effort to drive away human loggers and poachers from the north and expand the forest border.  Although the Treants roam all over the forest, this section of the woods have been labeled as their home.  Only those of Liamelia or those who are dedicated to the natural order can tread here without danger.  The Treants that guard this area favor ambush in great numbers and will generally try to scare away intruders, but will not hesitate to slay if the slightest use of fire becomes evident.  The large groove at the heart of Tarnruth's Woods is considered sacred to Silvanus and is heavily protected by Treants, their animal companions and powerful Rune Magic.

List Fields:  A constant thrum of battle and chant of prayer echo in the air about the field as one sort of training or another is being taught.  It is truly a wild sight to any non-resident to see the field in full use as sword and fist, staff and spell fly at one another.  This is the major training field where competitors spar against each other.  When not on duty, many of the Liamelian Force members like to come here and stretch their arms in practice or show off a new skill or trick learned.  Mageduels are numerous here and are the highest attraction to may.  Nothing is as wondrous as seeing several mages face off independently against each other in a huge arena.  Clerics, always at the ready, simply resurrect or regenerate those in training should any injuries or true deaths occur.

The Old Road:  Once a route for merchants and travelers going to the city of Shamph, this road is now rarely used due to the hostility of the Satyr and Centaur tribes that inhabit the forest.  Mostly, the Satyr and Centaur scare off intruders using the road and try to deter them by placing warning signs at the road's entrances.  But the Satyr especially take joy in playing tricks on those who do decide to brave the dangers, and often rob merchants and travelers of their goods.  Lately, armed adventurers have gone into the forest seeking the stolen goods only to be chased out with stamping hooves and arrows following close behind.  Because of such aggression, most, if not all merchants, instead head to the towns of Sespech or the two trading towns of Liamelia to sell their wares, creating a major loss of profit to Chondath.

The Nagaflow:  This river has been in great dispute between the Aquatic Elves and the Water Nagas.  The nagas like to make their way down river from The Nagawater; a lake to the northwest, and make their lairs in Liamelia Forest.  The Elves don't care much for the lake and leave it to the nagas and humans of Sespech, and once heavily defended the river that leads to their forest home.  Now, the Water Nagas are allowed a small portion of the forest exterior to make their lairs.  The Aquatic Elves still roam and guard the area; there is a large outpost in that river that acts as homes for them.  Despite their mutual agreement for peace, the Elves keep an ever watchful eye over the Naga's activities and whereabouts.

Adder Peaks:  This small range of peaks tower at around two thousand feet, allowing any to observe the surrounding area.  With this in mind, elven trainers have brought in Giant Eagles, who now use the peaks as homes.  The Giant Eagles also act as aerial mounts for the elves, which fly high and wide to watch over the eastern part of the region.  The peaks also act as a forward post for Liamelian Force members of the Yellow Faction.

The Maerthwatch:  The southern portion of this mountain range is where the majority of Liamelia's dwarven residence spend much of their time mining precious metal and gems.  With instruction not to expand their mining expeditions into the deep reaches of the Underdark, the dwarves have instead expanded outward toward the north.  Since that is the largest and densest part of the mountain range, the dwarves have had to spend large amounts of time to reinforce their tunnels so as not to collapse. In some instances, Elven wizards have come in to magical reinforce the dwarves' work.
