Introduction
Welcome to the Land of Liamelia! This is a land like no other on Toril (other then Myth Drannor before it fell). This be a home to a diverse population of the pure blood races, who look to escape the pressures and dangers of the never-ending growth of human settlements. This is a place where ancient traditions can continue on without the threat of corruption by outside forces. This is a place that magic is made of...
The inhabitants of this southern region defend their territory vigorously against all odds - war hungry goblinoid hordes, hostile giants, greedy humans, chaos-wielding demons and fiends, and an array of blood thirsty monsters. The citizens are always weary of every growing shadow, every outside portal, every dreadful rumour... Folk who leave the shelter of their homes are always armed; both to show the pride and accomplishment of their families, and to readily show their skill in it's use. One must always be ready, lest they fall victim to one of many horrors that lay in wait within the grassy plains, mountain passes or shallow waters.
As if these dangers were not enough, the Land of Liamelia is under daily threat from evil outside organizations such as the People of the Black Hand, the Cult of the Dragon, Red Wizards of Thay, the Zhentarim, and noble houses from nearby Chondath, which are just a few, who are ever present in the minds of Liamelia's people. Spies of these seek to bring about the downfall of this land for reasons they do not share with outsiders. Some may just want power and desire conquest, others may have ancient grudges with a particular race, or they just lust over all which is magical. Travelers must keep an eye out for what seems suspicious, for they can not know whether a merchant they've just met is what she seems, or an agent for a ruthless tyrant.
Yet despite all these dangers and threats, there is still hope for a peaceful existence, thanks to the dedicated members of the region's forces. Members of every race within Liamelia have many things in common; the strongest thing being that they believe in what they are apart of - this community, this kingdom, this dream. And so they train hard to fight for it's survival. All - from the smallest Halfling, to the oldest Dragon, raise their arms in defence, of what could be their last bastion of peace, harmony and tradition on the main land of Faerun.
To this end, the Lords of Liamelia and their followers strive to deal with the most pressing dangers arraying against their kingdom, nay - their home. They are always searching for clues that might reveal an unseen force, while continuing the growth of knowledge and skill, and preserving the ancient way of life.
