Within the market cities of Lindorneaceleb and Siannodel, are several scores of inns, tavern and shops to suit the needs of merchants and travelers.  Below are some of the more renowned establishments.

Inns

The Jacinth Rose (excellent/expensive) is Liamelia's best and also most expensive inn.  If the customer has enough coin, they can rest and relax in nobility comfort with a plush and soft bed that is always covered in sweet smelling rose petals, warm baths with scented oils and have a servant of the opposite sex to cater to most of their needs.

The House of Nightbreeze (good/moderate) is one of the good inns around, catering to all who seek comfort.  It's built-in tavern makes it a popular place for one night stops.

Silaqui's (excellent/moderate) is a fabulous inn where the price is reasonable next to it's quality.  The only drawback is that the owners don't like human customers.

The Iron Crown (fair/cheap) caters mostly to merchants staying the night and are off the next day.  Seeing how the place is kept, it's no wonder most don't stay too long and most only come here for it's lower then average price.

Taverns

The God's Tear (excellent/moderate) is Liamelia's most famous tavern.  It is rumoured that the bartender mages can mix any drink that is served in the realm above, and even a little from the realm below.  Many merchants who travel to Siannodel indulge themselves in this tavern with drinks that aren't normally served elsewhere.

The Forged Staff (excellent/expensive) is one of Liamelia's most glamorous dining locations.  Based within a massive oak tree in Lindorneaceleb, this eatery consists of many levels that surround a large open airspace shaft in the middle of the tree.  Diners are seated on a ring like platform, one on top the other while servers levitate up and down the central shaft delivering food and drink to the many patrons.  Some levels have been modified accordingly to allow unique guests like aquatic races to sit and dine in comfort.

The Sage's Inspiration (good/moderate) is a tavern named after an old Dwarven joke that a full stock of mead and ale is the source of scholarly insight.  Many wizards make a fool of themselves when coming here, as they are greeted with a loud cheer and the 'DONG' of a large bell as it is a daily ritual for the Dwarven patrons to count how many wizards make the mistake.  The barkeeper has even gone as far as to set up a pool at the beginning of the day as to how many wizards will find their way here, and at the end of the night, more then one lucky dwarf wonders home with a good haul of coin.  Other races have also taken an interest to the 'sport', especially Halflings who secretly guide non-native wizards to the tavern.

The Foaming Pint (good/moderate) is a favored tavern for many of Liamelia's Halflings.  The Halfling owner divided his establishment between a regular tavern for drinking and eating, and a weapons range where diners can watch as competitors test their skill in darts, slings, crossbows and throwing stones.  A popular spot every night as up to two hundred Halflings fill the establishment to relax and wage some easy coin.  Few taller races ever come here - due to their size, they are usually unable to duck or avoid the empty flying mugs and pints as the patrons call for more refills.

The Glowing Pitcher (excellent/expensive) is first and for most an elven bar.  But many flock here to enjoy sweet and delicate drinks as well as the impressive entertainment.  The establishment got it's name from the empty pitchers mounted on the walls that glow, creating the tavern's primary light source.  A large stage has been built to one side of the tavern, allowing room for musical bands (both natural and magical) and others entertainers such as bards to perform.  No matter what mood the music is, the light of the glowing pitchers around the tavern change to match the mood adding a relaxing effect to the place.  Many bards have made their way onto the stage, and in epic cases, customers are allowed the gift of watching two or more bards compete in song, dance and story.

The Skull Cup (fair/moderate) is the roughest tavern in all of Siannodel.  A haven for outside races such as humans, this bar is always busy with bar-fights.  Liamelian guards frequent this bar to keep any fights from spilling into the street.  The rough atmosphere has recently attracted a visiting adventurer, Brottor Dankil, a Drunken Master, no stranger to the dangerous tavern scene.  Since the fights are sometimes vicious and mostly numerous, the tough dwarf has made his home here as the tavern's main bouncer, although everyone knows that half the fights here start because the patrons challenge the Drunken Master outright.  Liamelian authorities have considered shutting the tavern down, since it does not fit the general good-natured atmosphere of Liamelia, but they recognize the need to have one establishment in which human visitors and other lower races can come and fit in while they trade their goods.  The Lords of Liamelia are pleased at seeing most, if not all the corrupted races flock to this spot to cause trouble, rather then all over town.

Shops

Fountain of Potions (excellent/expensive) sells a wide range of non-magical and magical liquids.  Any potion can be found or created here...for a price.

Antinua's Gemblossom (excellent/expensive) sells gems of any quality, cut or uncut, small or large.  Gems of all kinds - Amaranth, Amethysts, Black Opals, Rich Blue Diamonds, Emeralds, Dark Red Tears, Rubies, Sapphires, and more can be bought individually or in sets, but mostly the gems are set in mithral or silver bands which have become popular items.  Magical stones fashioned wholly from gems, such as Stones of Seeing and Ioun Stones can also be found or, granted enough time and money, made here.

Wizardry Glamour's (good/moderate) is a spell component and mage shop.  Almost any needed component for spells, potions or items can be found here.  Some components may take some time to attain or it will be up to the buyer to acquire them his or her self, only having to pay for information on where whatever it is they seek may be found.

The Shattered Spine (good/moderate) is one of many Dwarven smithy shops.  The owner, Dorn Rumnaheim is as fair as any when it comes to his wares and skill.  Beware that any who insult either, will find their 'spine shattered' for the gruff dwarf is good with his war hammer.

The Quillspire (excellent/expensive) is where spell books, brews and herbs are high sought by many.  Almost every magic user that enters Siannodel comes to this shop and for two reasons.  First, the items sold are of new and original idea and creation, which makes them popular.  And second, the items sold here are the personal works, skill and craftsmanship of the Archwizard of Liamelia, Slimanious Galanodel.  To make a little money on the side, Slimanious decided to sell his wares but instead found popularity and a high demand for his goods.  Many spell casters come to his shop to buy his famous and most useful spell books, or purchase some of his many brews and tonics that serve many reasons, or to splurge on some of his herbal creations for their smoke pipe.  Fighters and Barbarians often come here in search of a rare ink that can be seen in any spectrum of sight.  They use the ink (which comes in many different colors) as war paint or decoration while wizards often use the ink for their spell books and scrolls.  Of course, the Archwizard only creates these wares in his spare time, so students under his direct apprenticeship run the shop which is open seasonally, during the summer when enough goods have been made and travelers are in abundance.

The Burning Merchant (excellent/moderate) is a magic/mage shop that is best known for having all kinds of wares but at exceptional prices.  Owned by an ex-rogue Halfling, Alton Thorngage, this shop is always busy.  Many customers come here to look over the many different items, from trinkets to arms and armours and often leave with a new toy in hand.  It is still a wonder by other shop owners how this shop manages to sell items so cheaply and never encounter a shortage of stock at the same time.
