I do not have so many pictures of Shingo Mama, since I only have what I scanned from magazines and the minuscule amount I find on the web. Did you know I found no other English language websites about Shingo Mama? There were a few articles, and lots of websites for Shingo Katori. So I have two sections in the picture gallery. One part is for Shingo Mama, and the other part is for Shingo Katori!

This is filming for Shingo Mama's recent drama special. Shingo Mama's little character seems to be ducklings. My questions is, why? My mother used to like ducks, too. Maybe it's a mother thing.
Is that a microphone or breath spray? It's always fun to watch Shingo in the morning as he just wakes up and is talking to the camera, telling us how cold and tired he is. Proves to the world that even our beloved Shingo Mama in his popstar world is not invincible. So now, back to the yellow thing... someone just told me that thing is a fan!
How subtle in her polka-dot pink dress and matching umbrella! Next year when I move to Japan in time for Halloween, I just thought of a costume idea. I wonder how many other people are doing it... I wonder how many other hot guys are doing it.... maybe I don't want to know...

You know, if his face was a little less built and he didn't have an adam's apple, he could actually pass for a girl. It's funny, come to think of it; my math teacher in sixth grade looked just like this. Minus the flower. She didn't have that much feminine taste.
Getting set for a scene in the drama! I really wish I could have seen it. No, I've never seen the Shingo Mama special. If anyone has a copy, please e-mail me about it! Apparently it's supposed to be pretty good! That is, for a drama that's supposed to be based on Shingo Mama...
The Shingo Mama drama bike, same as pictured above. Everything matches. Take about coordination! During winter episodes a few times I've seen Shingo sporting the plaid pink patter with yellow instead, but to tell you the truth, I think the polka dot pink matches Shingo Mama's persona better anyway.

Shingo Mama the man. Simple. Weak. Sensitive. In secret, actually likes the colour pink. Ha ha, just kidding. By report, Katori's favourite colour is actually green.
Okay, I found this one online so don't bug me about the horrendous quality. This is Shingo Katori and two of the Morning Musume many. They were recently doing a program together, some sort of music special. It's a possibility that the morning show that Shingo got his famous "Oh' Ha-" from may have been hosted by them way back when. But I've never seen it and I'm not a Morning Musume fan so don't take my word for it.
As elaborate as Shingo does his costume each morning, he is just not a girl. So he'll never have the talent of a girl in applying makeup! Funny, though, most professional makeup artists are actually men. Think about it: Shingo arrives at some people's house at 6-ish or earlier. With the costume change and the makeup and transportation in addition to the morning routine, imagine how early he has to wake up! Now I see why he always looks so tired on camera.

There's another rockstar that this concert photo remind me of, and I just can't place it! I think it's Rolling Stones or Aerosmith or one of those. I'd ask the visitors of this page to think of who I may be talking about, but I don't know how many Aerosmith fans are also fans of Shingo Mama. Perhaps Domoto Kouichi.... Hey, are you visiting, Kouichi?

For those of us that remember the 80's, that's kind if funny. For those of us who don't remember the 80's, that's not as bad as you may think. Has anyone ever seen the Wedding Singer?

When I first saw this one, the scan of it was so dark that I thought it was a picture of Tomoya Nagase. But I lightened it up and lo and behind, what other Johnny's Talent has such distinctive and expressive lips? Rarely do I see Shingo so unhappy like this... it's almost depressing. I don't think I can take it much longer... I'm gonna cry..... bwaaaaaaaa...... okay on to the next picture.
Okay, here's a treat for you! This picture is not thumbnailed, but if you save it you will find it bigger than it appears online here. In this picture, Katori is doing a SataSmap role in which he designs new clothes using old clothes, and that's one of his creations plans there! Since the picture is dreadfully hard to see, to the right is a close-up, level edited version of the sketch he drew. It's really rather quaint. I think one of the other adorable childrens' artists in Johnny's would have to be Domoto Tsuyoshi.

Goofing off again at a concert. See what I mean about the light hair? Shingo Mama has dark hair. So he must wear a wig. I've never known him to have short hair with which he couldn't do anything, though, not since they debuted fro Hikaru Genji's obnoxious backup skating juniors.
Okay, this one is rather unconventional too! I think this is from a very recent drama, in which he plays a character which is very different from the one portrayed in Shingo Mama. In fact, it was so different, that on one episode of SmapxSmap, they took serious clips of the drama and posted a goofy looking pic of Shingo Mama in to corner, just to show the hilarious contrast. Let me see if I have any of those for you... Okay, I do!!! Can you see it? Look below... The Shingo Mama picture is in the right hand corner.
Now there's our Shingo Bay-bey! Out of curiosity, the Shingo Mama theme song is not the O'ha- Rock, it's actually the Austin Powers theme. (find it here) My buddie Ruthie and I were watching an episode and suddenly she noticed the music and burst out laughing! I suppose, in a twisted sort of way, the two really do identify.
The picture to the right is thumbnailed. He looks sooooo cute here. While I heard that Tsubasa Imai directs some of his own photo shoots, I don't think Shingo does. So many of the Johnny's boys look so cute in photos.

Dude, I just HAVE to put this in here. I found this online on one of the Japanese pages. I know they make dolls of SMAP but I don't think they make Shingo Mama dolls, so this is one of the special creations by Shingo Mama fans. If Shingo Mama was a doll, come to think of it, I might buy it just for novelty sake, but this just doesn't look right. Come on, I want comments for this one!!
This picture reminds me of DaPump "Be My Girl". He's so fine in this! Hee hee!! You know, prior to seeing Shingo Mama, I was never a big fan of SMAP. Sure, I liked Kimura Takuya because his birthday's a few days before mine, and I have seen Tsuyoshi Kusanagi in "Messenger" a dozen times (I love that movie!) but I didn't really know all that much about the group. Who would think that it'd take a six foot guy in a pink polka dot dress to get me intrigued?
Ya know, he was pretty cute when he was a teenager... He looks like every other Johnny's Boy when they were a teenager... just look at Kat-Tun now and what was the other one? Oh I can't remember. Those little Johnny's Juniors. Well, he looks like one of them, doesn't he?
