Tbay, Year 2, Day 18
Concert outfit as promised...

And a bonus picture, courtesy of my co-worker with not enough work to do.

Tbay, Year 2, Day 11
Oh yeah, had the last choir concert of the season a while ago, I'll post a picture of me in my lovely matron-style outfit soon.
But more exciting was heading over to Scutt1eButt's Watering Hole and Grill this weekend. It was like nothing I've ever seen before. Up till now, I've never been to a bar where MOST of the patrons are 35+ years old. The guys I went with were improperly dressed cuz they weren't wearing tight-a$$ jeans and cowboy boots... Even saw some guys with ten gallon cowboy hats. For the women? Well... lets just say most weren't dressing for their age amd leave it at that. And the live band played 500 Miles by the Proclaimers AGAIN! Please learn some new songs.

The decor was suitably rustic as well, with stuffed fish and deer heads mounted on the walls. The Christmas lights add a touch of "class".

The unofficial name for the bar is on the right. Describes the place prefectly!

Tbay, Year 2, Day 4
K, i think my day counting is correct now. 8)
Well went to a Mother's Day brunch today. So-so food. Annoying classical music in the background. Annoying little children running around screaming.
The paper mill is having a maintenance shutdown. Meaning no running water. So that means i get to use a Port-a-Potty tomorrow! eeeeeeeew.

Tbay, Day 364
Hmm... i think i've lost track of time since i moved up to tbay. I arrived here on May 8, 2002, so shouldn't it be "Tbay, Day 364" on May 6, 2003? Maybe i should just stop counting the days. Or maybe i just can't add.
Had a busy weekend. Saw the Xmen movie on Friday, and for once i don't really have any complaints about it. hehehe. It was a good way to escape reality for 2 hours. But it certainly helps to have seen the first Xmen movie and to have read some of the comics. Went to "Roxy's Nightclub" on Saturday nite. Ladies got in free, yet strangely, there were more guys than girls there. Some would call that a "sausage party", i just call that pathetic. hehe. There was a live cover band playing there, too. Apparently, all bar cover bands in tbay have the same repetoire, which includes of "500 Miles" by the Proclaimers, "Summer of 69" by Bryan Adams, and "Come On Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners. Learn some other songs, people. No one wants to hear that same sh!t every night.
And one more thing. I get to be in the office newsletter! But before you say, "wow, that's really cool!", take a look at the picture that's going to be published. I'm posing in front of my computer working on 'real-time TRS dispersion modelling'. heheheh.
