Reluctantly went to see "The C0re" this weekend... Spent most of the time snickering about things in the movie that aren't supposed to be funny. Like how the title sequence 'exploded' to the front of the screen - you know it's gonna be a great movie when that happens. Couldn't help laughing when 2 brilliant scientists were frantically trying to redo a calculation needed to save the world, "Did you take Pi into account? Ok, now remember to differentiate the volume." hehehe.
And why is it that EVERYTIME i go to a movie, the person directly behind me is a chair kicker and/or has an annoying cough??? Either that or i end up sitting beside an annoying little kid who can't read subtitles so his mother has to read them outloud to him during the movie. ahh, I feel better now that i've ranted. 8)

Hmm... Oh yes, didn't get that solo i never wanted. =P
I'd like to think that spring is on the way here, since the temperature's been above zero for a while. But I am told that Tbay normally gets walloped by a nice snow storm in April, so I'll just wait and see.
I also learned that Kraft Dinner, chocolate milk/orange juice and "slightly aged" chicken pies are not the best dinner combination. heheheh.

Ok, this is an old anecdote that i forgot to post.
A couple weeks ago, I went to choir rehearsal and there were tryouts for a solo that I didn't wish to sing because it's high for my range and etc. So i didn't practice it beforehand. But when it was time to audition, i had 2 people pointing and whispering to me that i should audition. One of them was pointing and whispering from across the room. heh. So i succumbed to the peer pressure and sang it. I didn't think it was very good, the top notes were kinda screechy... But another lady who also auditioned said, "Oh, you did such a good job! You should get the solo. You deserve it." Deserve it? Why? A couple days later, the section leader tells me that she thought i did the best job of everyone who auditioned and that i should get the solo. After all of this, I still don't really want the solo. hahaha. So we'll see if i get it or not. 8)
