So. Played in a pool tournament today. expected to get my ass kicked and be out of competition after the first game. well i DID get my ass kicked. Several times. But unfortunately for my opponents, they kept scratching on their 8-ball shots. By the time i got to the quarter final, i had been hanging around for 4 hours. The guy i played was very good, but then he lost the game when i still had 4 balls out on the table. i couldn't believe it. i actually was very tired and wanted to go. but NOOOOO! anyway, i lost in the consolation semi-final. Not too bad for someone who hasn't really played pool since last march... =)

Did you know that you can leave a carton of milk in the trunk of a car when it's -18 degrees (-30 windchill) outside for oh, about 8 hours and the milk still won't be completely frozen? I didn't know that. hehehe. I also learned that "leafy vegetables" will turn into "liquid leafy vegetables" if one was to leave them in the fridge for over 2 weeks.
