Tbay, Year 2, Day 111
My computer is gone!!! 8( I sent it via courier back to toronto. So updates will be a little infrequent until i get it connected to the internet again. My house isn't built for easy networking so it'll have to be either pulling 150 feet of network cable, wireless or powerline networking. Decisions, decisions. then skule starts again in a week!!! wtf?! where did my 16 month working vacation go? time flies.

Tbay, Year 2, Day 100
Where was I when the power went out? I was at work in Thunder Bay, dude. The lights didn't even flicker out here in the boonies. Got home, booted up ICQ and I saw something I've never seen before. Only ONE person was online. He was in Alberta. Then someone from Hong Kong came online. Unheard of.

Tbay, Year 2, Day 89
My landlords are slowly driving me crazy. Either that or they are subtly 'encouraging' me to move out.
They bought a new dehumidifier which they don't know how to operate properly. So, I have to set it and empty the reservoir out with it's full. When the reservoir is full, the thing beeps every couple seconds. That's ok in the daytime, but when it gets full at night, only I can hear the beeping, which wakes me up from my precious sleep. So then I have to get out of my cozy bed and dump out the water.
My landlords also managed to (not purposely) sabotage my toilet. I arrived home last night about 2 am and went to use the washroom. When I flushed, the swirling water turned a dark blue colour and the flush was 'incomplete'. I thought, "ooook, so they put one of those blue toilet pucks in the tank, how nice of them..." i just flushed it again and walked away. When I walked by the washroom again a minute later, the toilet was still making that "filling up the tank" noise, so i opened up the tank and took a look. For some reason the stopper at the bottom was still open, so I jiggled the chain to see if it was just stuck. But NOOOO, the stopper was wedged open by the squishy remnants of a toilet puck. I didn't even know they got squishy. I got an old toothbrush and prodded at the puck. And it moved alright, moved down into the pipe between the tank and the bowl. It's stuck in the pipe, too. I know because the water in the bowl is still dark blue everytime I flush. And the toilet has lost some flushing power, too. Now I'm just waiting for the puck to dissolve.
Oh yeah, also went to a wedding on Friday. It was the first time I was the "token guest" who doesn't know anyone else at the wedding except for their date. Let's just say that it was a bit awkward and leave it at that. For pictures of the wedding and more details about what happened, click HERE.
