Chibi-Usa is the future daughter of Usagi and Mamoru. She first appears in the Sailor Moon R series, falling from the sky and landing on Usagi and Mamoru as they share a romantic day together at the docks. She develops a slight crush on Mamoru, and seeks his attention constantly... where as she looks down on Usagi for being clumsy, irresponsible, and seemingly ungrateful. She brainwashes Usagi's mom, dad, and brother into believing that she is part of the family. During her stay with Usagi, they share a sisterly relationship. They spend a lot of time together, and argue constantly. During the R series, Chibi-Usa comes to the past to steal Sailor Moon's crystal in order to save her mother who was trapped by the Wise Man.
Chibi-Usa was convinced by the Wise Man that no one on Earth or the Moon loved her, and that she had no friends... in a result, she was overcome with her insecurities and loneliness and transformed into Black Lady. But in the end, Usagi freed Neo Queen Serenity with her crystal, and saves Chibi-Usa from the Wise Man. Along with the other Senshi, Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity defeat the Wise Man with powers combined. After this incident, Chibi-Usa returns home to the Moon Kingdom, and her mother and father.
Chibi-Usa returns to the past a few years later as a Sailor Senshi in training. Then, as Super Sailor Chibi Moon, she is a full fledge soldier. Chibi-Usa is one of the most lovable characters in Sailor Moon. She's adorable, and so much like Usagi in many ways. In the manga, her crush on Mamoru is expressed a bit more... but Elios replaces that when he makes his appearance as a Priest of Elysion trapped in the form of a Pegasus. He kisses her to ease her tears when she runs away with thoughts of being useless, and she immediately falls in love with him. Elios also gives Chibi Moon a bell to ring whenever she's in need of his powers.
