This Shrine is dedicated to Tomoe Hotaru, a.k.a., Sailor Saturn. Sailor Saturn is the Senshi of Destruction and Creation.
There is a lot to Tomoe Hotaru's story. She is first introduced in Sailor Moon S as the daughter of Professor Tomoe. There was an explosion in the professor's lab one day that killed everyone (including Hotaru). However, the professor was the only one who survived. A demon then came to him and offered to save the others if Professor Tomoe would sell him his soul. The professor agreed and was then possessed by the demon, and Mistress 9 became a part of Hotaru. He then went on a search for the 3 Talismans for Mistress 9 with the help of his assistant Kaolinite. Hotaru befriends Chibi-Usa by healing a wound on her knee with her special powers.Hotaru hated Kaolinite because she treated her so poorly. When Mistress 9 was defeated, Hotaru became Sailor Saturn, the Senshi of Destruction and Creation. Sailor Saturn then told Sailor Moon that she needed to defeat Pharoah 9, a higher power, and that she would need to sacrifice herself in order to use her powers to the fullest. Sailor Moon tried to stop her ofcourse, but Saturn held the glaive at Moon's throat, and jumped into Pharoah 9's demension...
Sailor Saturn used her forbidden attack, Death Reborn Revolution. Sailor Moon dove in after her, and when the smoke cleared, she was holding baby Hotaru. Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna then raised Hotaru (who grew at an amazing rate!) until she was once again old enough to be Sailor Saturn. Then, the four Outer Senshi were reunited with the Inners, and Chibi-Usa gained back her good friend Hotaru.
Now for the basics on Tomoe Hotaru. Hotaru was born on January 6th and is a Capricorn. She loves to read an collect lamps. Her favorite subject is World History and her least favorite subject is Physical Education. Since some people like to use this type of information in Role Playing, her favorite food is Nihon Soba (japanese buckwheat noodles) and her least favorite is Milk. She has this extra ability to heal injuries, and dreams of becoming a doctor. She is very good friends with Chibi-Usa, or as you might know her, Rini. Hotaru seemed cold at first, but turned out to be a really sweet girl when they learned more about her.
In these two manga pictures, Sailor Saturn is introducing herself, and doing her attack "Silent Glaive Suprise." In that scene she is trying to save the Amazoness Quartet from their evil dreams.*Personal Scans*
