Meet our first Star Light, Sailor Star Fighter. I like the Star Lights, but some people seem to be a little judgemental about them since they are men who transform into women... this page will be a bit larger than those of the other Star Lights because I will include more on their background.
Sailor Star Fighter's true identity is Kou Seiya. His name means "Light of the Star Arrow." Seiya does the lead vocals for the band he is in with his brothers (the other Starlights). The purpose for having this band is later stated on this page. Seiya is a big flirt, especially with Usagi-chan, but I will explain their relationship a little better later on.
Seiya doesn't get along very much with Haruka because she caught him hitting on Michiru one day in her dressing room. Michiru played along, since she sometimes enjoys making Haruka jealous... Haruka also doesn't like how Seiya seemingly moves so quickly with her kitten, Usagi (Haruka is protective over her). Seiya is also sporty like Haruka is. He likes to play football and his favorite class is P.E. Seiya is very arrogant, like any famous rock star would be...
In no time at all, Seiya falls in love with Usagi because the light that radiates from her reminds him of his own Princess. He makes several attempts to get closer to Usagi, but she stays faithful to Mamoru (even as she had not heard from him in so long). Usagi seems to show slight interest in Seiya because he reminds her of Mamo-chan sometimes...
The Star Light's come from a planet called Kimoku. They are gaurdians of the ruler of that planet, Princess Kakyuu, and come to Earth to find her when they are separated after their planet is destroyed by Galaxia. Therefore, the Star Lights became a musical group to help find her. In their songs, they sing will all their love, and call out to her... this is how Haruka and Michiru sense the power that radiates from them in concert.
In the first scan, Seiya has just joined the football team, and the second is a scan of the three Sailor Starlights.
